Tunnel to Towers Run, Hudson, NY
An emergency arose when a flag was needed for the race, so Susan brought her "Wounded Warrior" flag (it has a patch) so it could be flown. All that attended had a great time, and Stars were given to all that were military or firemen. Expect many more runners in 2013.

Over 1,000 Stars were passed out to veterans and those currently serving. We met veterans from WWII to today. The exhibit of memorabilia from those from Rensselaer county is wonderful. They also are keeping records of all veterans and those serving from Rensselaer County.

We were honored to participate in this wonderful weekend in Sand Lake.

The Hispanic Coalition invited Stars for our Troops to participate at their 5K Vets run with Capt Ivan Castro, a blind soldier, know for running marathons across the USA and encouraging those with battle scars to keep on going. What an inspiration he is!!
